Once, the kingdom was ruled by a just and noble king, but then the king died and a powerful sorcerer arrived from a foreign land. The sorcerer corrupted the young prince and banished the loyal kingsguard and his priestess wife to a life of exile. Years later, the priestess is dead and the kingsguard raises their daughter alone, dedicating his life to the promise of keeping their daughter safe.
Now, for the first time since the exile, a figure has appeared at the end of the road. The kingsguard's promise is about to be tested.
