What's new in version 2.0

  • Drastically increased the healing rate for Triage's Heal ability. The actual effect should now reflect the ability tooltip more accurately. Triage's Heal ability now also costs more energy per second
  • Nassana's Psionic Storm can now harm turrets
  • Widowmaker's Snipe can now target turrets
  • Overkill's Haywire Missile can now target turrets
  • Overkill's Hunter-Seeker drone can now target turrets
  • Fixed Eightball's Titan Plating (now increases armor by 2)
  • Fixed Eightball's Immolation Gauntlets (primary weapon now deals more damage)

Gameplay and Terrain

  • Added an optional quest that involves new miniboss encounters
  • Redesigned a section before the first mining camp into a branching path
  • Redesigned a section between the second camp and the Zerg base
  • Numerous minor terrain fixes and improvements (pathing and visual)

UI and Cinematics

  • Cinematics can now be skipped by pressing the "ESC" key
  • If summoned, Oldschool's auto-turret will now be removed from the game at the start of any cinematic
  • All playable characters will be healed up at the start of any cinematic
  • Changed the keyboard shortcuts for all active abilities on all playable heroes to "Q", "W" and "E" respectively (depending on the slot in the command card) in order to maximize their usability combined with switching between heroes and avoid players having to chase down keys on the keyboard in the heat of battle
  • Hidden unnecessary UI components (Resource Panel, Idle Workers button and Army Units button)
  • Hidden the mouse cursor during each Automated Camera Pan event
  • Made sure only the error sound is played on invalid turret placement
  • Cleaner list of Main Objectives (any completed main objectives will be removed from the list)

How to play

  • This map requires StarCraft II Heart of the Swarm in order to play, as it uses several assets that came with the HotS expansion.
  • To play this map, open it with the StarCraft II Editor and click the "Test Document" button found in the upper-right (green SC2 icon).

This map uses certain unit models made by members of the community:

  • Eightball uses Brood War Firebat (Firebat Merc) model and textures by: GhostNova91
  • Nassana uses Xerana model and textures by: Forsworne/Thrikodias
